Here are our regularly occurring events:

Gracies Sunday Brunch (every Sunday)
Sunday Brunch provides a delicious meal to guests and members of the community. You’ll never know who or what food will be there, and it’s a great alternative to waiting in line for brunch at a café on a busy Sunday. We offer mostly vegetarian and vegan selections. We welcome help in the kitchen, or you can make a dish of your own!

Tuesday Game Night (every Tuesday)
Join us as we head down the street to Vincente’s Pizza, SE 20th and Hawthorne, for a fun evening of games (including foosball!), pizza, and brews.

Pub Crawls (usually 1-2 a month)
Pub crawl leaders bring guests to the varied selection of watering holes in this town. Must be at least 21 years of age to participate.

First/Last Thursday Artwalk (every First Thursday all year, every last Thursday Apr-Dec)
Local volunteers lead expeditions to First Thursday in the Pearl District (NW), and Last Thursday on Alberta St. (NE), offering a unique insider’s perspective to our hostel guests and showcasing our local arts scene. This is a great way to check out some interesting neighborhoods.

Travel Stories (first Monday of every month)
A monthly series of presentations by those who have had adventures, whether around the world or around the block.

Open Mic Night (Wednesdays July through September)
Portland’s longest running outdoor open mic night! Musicians, poets, and other performers are encouraged to participate.

Garden Work Party (at least once a month, more during spring and summer)
Get your hands in the dirt! This fun activity gets you involved in our hostel garden. Help with planting, maintenance, composting, harvesting, drying, and storing herbs.
