Courtney

Originally a Californian, Courtney moved to Portland for the community and the great people from all over. She has a passion for urban farming and tap dancing.

Liz

Liz has lived in the Hawthorne district since she moved to Portland in 2009. She grew up in Massachusetts, which causes her to think Portland weather is awesome. When she’s not at the hostel she can often be found telling stories around town.

Happy

A Chicago native who has made a concerted effort to explore the city and embrace all the various activities, events, and the music/nightclub scenes.

Jeni

With her brief hiatus for school and travel completed, Jeni has returned to our happy hostel and we are so pleased to have her back. Jeni grew up not far from here in White Salmon, WA, and she is a great photographer.

Michele

A Minnesota native who moved to Portland to attend school at Lewis and Clark College…When you start wearing sandals in the middle of winter here you know you had lived in Minnesota for too long.

Talbot

A Virginia native who has had the opportunity to travel to more than 30 countries around the world. He loves learning about other places and people.
