Sunday Parkways

A series of events in summer where the city officially closes several streets in a loop, connecting various neighborhood parks. People can walk, ride, and roll along the streets on the route without interference of auto traffic.

Pedalpalooza is a two and a half week (17 day) long celebration of Portland bike culture that occurs every year.
